Source and site-level methane emission reconciliation

In this project, we perform quantitative and qualitative top-down and bottom-up reconciliation of various measurement techniques from different platforms at source, area and site levels. This is a project from European Gas Research Group (GERG) in which Maaz Maps is contracted to perform scientific reconciliation and write the report, and Utrecht University is contracted to review the report. The measurement campaign was performed in Zelzate compressor station where 11 technology providers performed their methane emission quantification methods. Quantifications were performed by individuals, e.g. applying bagging technique, or instruments were installed on fixed positions or on mobile platforms such as helicopter, drones, cars, and truck.
